What is your best advice for high school students looking to attend college: Don鈥檛 be afraid to reach out and learn more about schools you are interested in. Ask current students about their own experiences, reach out to academic advisors, and visit campus if possible. Learning about what each university has to offer can help you determine which school is the right fit for you.
Do you have a favorite UO 鈥渇un fact鈥: The University of Oregon is the only university to have a Disney character (Donald Duck) as a mascot!
What is your favorite place to hang out on the UO campus or in Eugene, and why: I love running on Pre鈥檚 Trail over by Autzen Stadium, especially in the summer and fall. The area is beautiful and is a great place for me to clear my mind. It is a nice little escape from the hustle and bustle of Eugene and is just across the river from campus
Do you have any special skills, talents, interests, or hobbies: My secret talent is that I can name all 50 states in alphabetical order in less than 20 seconds. I learned this in second grade, and it has been my party trick ever since.
If you didn鈥檛 work in admissions, what would you be doing instead: If I didn鈥檛 work in admissions at the University of Oregon, I would probably be working at an advertising agency as a strategist or account manager.
